In the fall of 2020 we planted 60 Stella Cherry trees

Time to plant

Fencing is required to protect the young trees from the deer until they are large enough to withstand the abuse.

In April of 2021, we had a warm start then 5 inches of heavy snow. Unfortunately, our newly planted trees were not able to withstand the shock. Nearly all of the trees died.

Only 17 of the original trees survived. In the Spring of 2023 we replaced the other 43 and upgraded the fencing for better protection.
